This is made to be compatible with your Dometic system, meaning you will not have to change out anything inside the RV. You are simply swapping out the rooftop unit, which will fit in the standard 14x14 opening. If your Dometic unit is original from 2003, this Advent unit will be a nice upgrade, as it will run quieter and be more efficient than the old unit.
